Lamberts Rutin and Vitamin C
Vitamin C, or ascorbic acid is needed for a healthy immune system, healthy bones, teeth and gums as well as helping to maintain normal cholesterol levels. In addition to being an antioxidant in its own right, vitamin C facilitates the body in recycling other antioxidants. Vitamin C is one of the fragile water soluble nutrients and our daily requirement for it is higher than for any other water soluble vitamin.
This product combines powerful bioflavonoids, including rutin and hesperidin with a full 500mg of Vitamin C. These bioflavonoids are naturally sourced with rutin being extracted from buckwheat and hesperidin from citrus fruit skins.
Bioflavonoids have been the focus of research as they appear to be used by the body in a number of ways; in particular they support vitamin C in the role it plays in the maintenance of healthy collagen and cartilage. These tissues are the main structural components of blood capillary walls which is why rutin, in particular, is sometimes recommended for people who bruise easily. Combination of powerful bioflavonoids with a full 500mg of Vitamin C. Includes rutin and hesperidin.
