Which Strains Are Included? - Ultra Probioplex IB contains a non-dairy live bacteria formula featuring enhanced potency and highly viable, pure strains of Lactobacillus acidophilus (NCFM strain) and Bifidobacterium lactis (Bi-07) to support lower bowel health.
Number of Bacteria at Date of Consumption? – Ultra Probioplex IB provides a guaranteed potency of 60 billion live organisms per serving, all the way through until the expiry date. To assure maximum survival and potency, it’s produced in a freeze-dried form and then refrigerated throughout storage and shipping, and should also be refrigerated at home.
Can the Bacteria Survive Stomach Acidity? - The 50:50 ratio of L. acidophilus and B. lactis have been chosen specifically as they are two extremely well-researched bacteria strains that are known for their ability to survive the acidic stomach environment and their ability to adhere to the intestinal wall.
