Description
Why choose EstroLibrium?
EstroLibrium has been specially formulated to comprehensively support the safe metabolism and elimination of oestrogen from the body by supporting the body's liver, digestive function and normal hormone balance. It contains key ingredients that have been specifically researched for their role in supporting oestrogen clearance and is ideal for both men and women. EstroLibrium contains a vast range of nutrients in high enough amounts to comprehensively support oestrogen balance and is incredibly cost-effective when compared to taking these ingredients individually.
Issues associated with oestrogen clearance can cause oestrogen dominance, which is extremely common in women of child-bearing age. Oestrogen dominance may be helped by supporting the liver to clear oestrogen more effectively. EstroLibrium also contains non-soy phytooestrogens from kudzu and flaxseed, as well as a range of specifically selected vitamins, minerals and antioxidants to support the relevant metabolic processes in the liver. This powder mixes into a tasty orange-flavoured drink designed to be taken just once a day.
What is oestrogen dominance?
Oestrogen dominance is a key issue that now affects most people to some extent. And it's not just something that women should be concerned about; men are affected too.
Both men and women produce oestrogen; and we are all exposed to oestrogen through external sources too, such as through food, water, medication, plastic, petroleum, cleaning products, pesticides and much more.
High levels of oestrogen can be harmful, so your body is equipped with processes to eliminate excess amounts. However these processes may struggle to deal with the high levels that most people are now exposed to on a daily basis, and this can lead to a long list of unwanted health problems.
Oestrogen dominance can affect women during a number of stages of life, and may contribute to fertility issues in child-bearing women, and symptoms associated with perimenopause in older women, including mood swings, headaches, hot flashes and poor sleep.
Why are standardised extracts important?
We use standardised herbal extracts in EstroLibrium. Standardised herbal extract is a specific concentration of one or more of the chemical compounds found in the plant.
It guarantees that the potency and amount of active compounds contained in the product is the same as those advertised on the label and is consistent from batch to batch.
With standardised herbal extracts, you know you're getting a sufficient amount of the beneficial compound, as determined by scientific evidence.
What are phytoestrogens and why are they important?
Phytoestrogens are naturally occurring compounds found in plants and foods that behave like a weak oestrogen. They imitate oestrogen because their chemical structure is very similar to that of oestrogen produced in the body. They bind to the body's oestrogen receptors, but not quite as firmly as naturally-produced oestrogen. Thus they can have a balancing effect, enhancing oestrogen levels when they are low, and lowering oestrogen levels when they are high by preventing the stronger naturally-produced oestrogen from binding to the receptors. The Flaxseed and Kudzu provided in EstroLibrium are non-soy sources of phytoestrogens.
Ideal for those who are looking for a natural way to manage their oestrogen levels. Suitable for any woman wishing to balance her hormones from age 18 up to and including the years around the menopause (approx age 18-55). It also suitable for women of childbearing age wishing to support menstrual health and fertility or women of 40+ wishing to support fluctuating oestrogen levels in the perimenopause.
Also suitable for men with oestrogen dominance.
