Lamberts Siberian Ginseng
This herb is also known as Eleutherococcus and is a product that developed as a result of the search by the Russians for an alternative to Korean ginseng (Panax ginseng).
As a potent physiological adaptogen, Siberian ginseng is often used to combat stress and fatigue. Currently there are clinical trials being undertaken in the UK on its use in the alleviation of symptoms of unremitting fatigue and the researchers have been excited by the preliminary results.
Key constituents of Siberian ginseng are a large group of active compounds, referred to as eleutherosides. Lamberts Siberian Ginseng is a high potency extract, equivalent to 1500mg of the whole herb, with a guaranteed 810µg eleutherosides.
A high strength one-a-day tablet
The important ingredients in Siberian ginseng are a group of active compounds referred to as eleutherosides, and in this Lamberts® product they use an extract that has a guaranteed level of these important compounds. Over the past three decades there has been a considerable amount of scientific work on the chemistry, pharmacology and clinical effects of Siberian ginseng, (or Eleutherococcus). Siberian ginseng is best taken first thing in the morning although it is regarded as a more ‘gentle’ preparation than Korean Ginseng. These tablets are small and coated to make them tasteless and easy to swallow. Daily intake: 1 tablet
