Vitamin E protects every cell in the body from ‘free radicals’ through its antioxidant properties and this protective role has put vitamin E at the centre of worldwide research. Studies indicate that it may help maintain the health of the heart by protecting polyunsaturated fats in the body from being oxidised into saturated fats and so protect all membranes including those in the lungs and blood vessels. 

Lamberts® supplies vitamin E in its natural form of d-alpha tocopherol, as this is the form in which it occurs in foods and as research has confirmed that it has a higher biological activity, and is absorbed and retained more readily by the body than synthetic vitamin E. It is standardised on d-alpha tocopherol but other tocopherols are present. 

The cheaper synthetic form is called dl-alpha tocopherol and is the form most commonly found in many of the ‘high street’ single vitamin E products. 
Current research suggests that a daily intake of 400iu is a sensible level which is the level found in each of Lamberts capsules. Naturally sourced from vegetable oil. UK Made to GMP standards

Current research suggests that a daily intake of 400iu is a sensible level. However, it is often difficult, if not impossible, to get this level from a typical diet. For example, 0.45kg (1 lb) of sunflower seeds is needed to obtain 400iu of vitamin E.

Encapsulated with: Capsule Shell (Modified Starch, Glycerol, Gelling Agent: Carageenan, Acidity Regulator: DiSodium Phosphate). 
Disintegration Time Less than 30 minutes.
