BioCare Evening Primrose Oil

Evening Primrose was used traditionally by the North American Indians and early European settlers for a variety of conditions. The benefits derived from Evening Primrose are believed to be due to the oil contained within it seeds. This oil provides gamma linolenic acid (GLA). GLA is involved in the formation of healthy cell membranes and is converted in the body to prostaglandin E1 (PGE1), which is an essential biochemical process.

Not suitable for individuals taking anti-blood clotting drugs such as Warfarin, Coumarin and Heparin. Not suitable for individuals suffering from epilepsy.
