Lamberts 5 HTP Hydroxytryptophan

5-HTP, short for 5-hydroxytryptophan, is a derivative of the amino acid tryptophan, and is converted in the brain, into the neurotransmitter serotonin which influences everything from appetite, to mood, to sleep.

Lamberts are delighted to introduce Lamberts 5 HTP Hydroxytryptophan to the Lamberts® range and use a natural source, extracted from the seeds of Griffonia simplicifolia.

Ingredients for Lamberts 5 HTP Hydroxytryptophan

Typically per tablet for Lamberts 5 HTP Hydroxytryptophan

L-5-Hydroxytrytophan 100mg

(natural extract from the seeds of Griffonia simplicifolia)
Tableted with:

DiCalcium Phosphate, Calcium Carbonate, Cellulose, Tablet Coating (Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Colour: Titanium Dioxide, Glycerin), Silicon Dioxide, Stearic Acid, Magnesium Stearate.

Take up to 3 tablets daily, half an hour before meals or half an hour before bedtime or as directed by a practitioner or pharmacist. Do not exceed recommended daily dose5-HTP is best taken for periods of up to 3 months.

Food supplements should not be a substitute for a varied diet.

Do not take if pregnant or breast feeding.

Mild drowsiness may occur in some people. It is advisable not to drive or operate machinery until you determine how 5-HTP affects you.

Consult your Doctor if you are taking antidepressants.

Lamberts 5 HTP Hydroxytryptophan is suitable for vegetarians.
