WHY IS ALPHA LIPOIC ACID SUCH A POWERFUL ANTIOXIDANT Unlike other antioxidants which are either hydrophilic (water soluble) or Lipophylic (fat soluble), ALA is both water and fat soluble, enabling it to act both inside our cells and outside our cells.
