Improper or incomplete digestion of fats, proteins and carbohydrates can lead to a number of digestive difficulties. The protein digesting enzymes, bromelain and papain are found in pineapples and unripe papayas.
Digestaid is a high potency enzyme suitable for vegetarians and vegans, especially formulated for clinical ecologist, Gwynne Davies. It is an ideal digestive food supplement to improve nutrient availability from food.

Features of BioCare Digestaid

A combination of biologically active, proteolytic, lipolytic and carbolytic enzymes to aid the digestion of proteins, fats and carbohydrates

Contains bromelain and papain which assist the body with protein digestion

Lipase helps with the efficient digestion of fats and oils

Amylase is required for the complete digestion of carbohydrates

Acid stable against stomach pH

Able to retain digestive capability over a wide range of pH variances

All enzymes are from vegetable sources

Suitable for vegetarians and vegans

units (CPU’s) with potato maltodextrin & soy protein)

(providing 3mg actual papain or 5 papain tyrosine
units (PTU’s) with potato maltodextrin)
Bromelain                                                                                                          30mg
(providing 25.5mg actual bromelain or 60 gelatin
digesting units (GDU’s) with potato maltodextrin)
Amylase                                                                                                             10mg
(providing 0.5mg actual amylase or 300 amylase units
(AU’s) with potato maltodextrin)
Lipase                                                                                                                2.5mg
(providing 1.63mg actual lipase or 87.5 lipase units
(LU’s) with potato maltodextrin)

Recommended Intake
One capsule taken with each main meal (max 3 capsules daily) or as professionally directed.
