Features of BioCare ColonGuard

ColonGuard® is a useful dietary supplement to support the balance of gut microflora. Caprylic, lauric and butyric acid are all fatty acids known to help support the integrity of the gastrointestinal tract and encourage the growth of friendly bacteria.
ColonGuard® is ideally used in conjunction with a low yeast, low sugar diet and can be taken as a maintenance
capsule after following a more restrictive anti-yeast diet.
A high potency, one a day maintenance capsule
Garlic helps support levels of gut bacteria without adversely affecting friendly bacteria
Caprylic acid has a supportive role in establishing the growth of lactic bacteria
Butyric acid helps L. acidophilus and B. bifidum adhere to gut epithelial tissue
Butyric acid provides an essential primary source of energy for rapidly growing intestinal cells
Biotin is utilised by yeast organisms to maintain their status in their hyphe form which is better tolerated than yeast organisms in their mycelial form
Aloe vera supports intestinal integrity
Suitable for vegetarians and vegans

Recommended Intake
One capsule taken daily with food, or as professionally directed.
Warnings
Not suitable for use during pregnancy or if pregnancy is being planned. Not suitable for
individuals with colitis, gastritis or ulcerative conditions of the colon.
